An evening at the Mirjan Fort
Recently I have visited Mirjan Fort, which is situated in Uttar Kannada District in the western bank of Arabian Sea. This Fort might be built by the Sonde Kings of Uttar Kannada District during 15th century A.D. to keep a vigil on the intruiding of Portguese people. The Fort is built by locally available red stones and spread-over an area of 10 acres. Surrounded by coconut palm and having a beautiful overlook of Arabian Sea. During evening the western wind is enthralling and a very good spot for picnic and history lovers.

ಆಕಾಶವಾಣಿ ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ವರುಷದ ದಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಮನರಂಜನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಒಂದು ದೃಶ್ಯ .

೨೦೧೦ರ್ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಆಕಾಶವಾಣಿ ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ವರುಷವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದ ಚಿತ್ರ ..
